There were some niggling doubts however on the location of the project. We felt that it would be very far removed from the city and we did not have any high hopes on the approach either. So when the L&T officials kindly offered to take us to the site and judge for ourselves, we readily agreed. The drive to the site location was a revelation. The six-lane expressway was comparable to any advanced country. And the state-of-the-art buildings lining on either side of the road made us really wonder if we were in Chennai or in Silicon Valley! What we feared would be more than an hour’s drive, did not take us more than 30 minutes from Adyar. This is as close as it can get from the city and yet be away from the snarling traffic and maddening crowd.

The icing on the cake was when we were shown the model house. It is one thing to visualize the layout based on paper drawing and an entirely different experience to actually see it in brick and mortar. The model house was all that we could imagine it to be. A lot of thought seems to have gone into making the most effective use of space and at same time complying with "Vastu Sastras". The room dimensions are ideal; the location of windows and doors have been designed so as to accommodate maximum furniture; the choice of flooring and bathroom tiles and the various fittings could not been more tasteful; every single detail like service area, utility area, space for drying clothes, etc has been thought through. And we were assured that except for the furniture on display, our own house would be identical to the model house.

Our decision was made then and there and we immediately booked our flat. The courteous and professional manner in which the officials have been handling the entire process has been a refreshing experience. We are constantly updated on the progress of the flat and the various initiatives that are being undertaken to make Eden Park not only a self contained housing complex but an entirely new living experience.

Needless to add, the project is on schedule as of now. We went and saw for ourselves the progress of work in the site. We even witnessed the latest building technology being adopted by L&T by which the construction of a flat could be completed in 3 days flat! The frenzied activity with thousands of people on site gave us the confidence that we had taken the right decision.

We are now happily looking forward to the project completion and taking over possession.

The timely completion of the project is an underlying factor of any construction and with the L& T name we hope that it will be met with. The staffs have been cooperative and understanding the needs of the buyer and all aspects of the Hindu ethos have been taken care in the layout of the apartment. We are sure to have the best of neighbors as all of us would have bought the apartments with the same kind of thoughts. Selfishly, we wish the project all success and pray for its timely completion. Eden Park has instilled the belief that it is nice to dream and watch it fructify into reality.
